Harry T. Seagrave, 50-Yr. Resident, Dead
Alameda, April 5. - Death today came suddenly to Harry T. Seagrave, retired, of 1302 Eighth Street, native of San Francisco, a resident of Alameda for half a century.
Formerly in the shoe business, Seagrave was a member of Royal Arch Masons, Aanmes Temple of the Shrine, Alameda Commandery of Knights Templar, the Royal Arcanum's Buena Vista Council; Carita Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star and Apollo Lodge of Masons.
Apollo Lodge will be in charge of last services to be held Monday at 3:30 p.m. in th Fowler-Anderson Mortuary.
Seagrave leaves a widow, Marion S. Seagrave, Alameda clubwoman; two sons, Edward F. and John C., and four brothers, John C., William G., Frank e. and Joseph Seagrave." [4]

- Announcement in the San Francisco Examiner of 1 Dec 1889:
" Harry T. Seagrave was married to Miss Marion Moore by the Rev. M. Dorsey on Thanksgiving Day at the residence of Captain C. E. Hensley, on Prospect avenue, near Twenty-eighth street.
Miss Esther Hensley was the bridesmaid, and Mr. Conroy officiated as the groom's best man.
After the ceremony the happy couple and invited guests sat down to an elaborate supper in the spacious dining-room, and the health of Mr. and Mrs. Seagrave was pledged in many toasts. Dancing and music followed and were continued until after midnight." [5]
